Overview4Winds Specialty Tours is the tour division of Kennewick Travel, Inc./American Express in Kennewick, WA. Kennewick Travel is a large, well-known fully licensed and bonded IATA and ASTA travel agency. All tour monies are handled by Kennewick Travel and saved in their escrow account.
Manager Elfriede Wind, a member of OSSN (outside sales support network), started the tour division in 1989 under the name of Bon Voyage Specialty Tours, in cooperation with Bon Voyage Travel in Colorado. After a move to West Richland, WA, Elfriede signed a contract to sell her tours under the supervision of Kennewick Travel, Inc./American Express.
As a native of Holland, Elfriede introduced the now very popular Holland Bike/Barge Tours. 14 years later, they still offer these tours and tours in a few other countries. However, the bike/barge tours are still far out the favorites. Elfriede has escorted many of the Spring Flower Bike/Barge groups and has stayed on most barges.
In the last few years, they've also done a lot of barge rentals to private groups of 6 to 32 people. They can advise you which barge would be best for your group and customize your tour. 4Winds has helped girl scouts, family groups, groups of friends bicyclists as well as non-bicyclists.
