Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Amsterdam - Haarlem, 10km After the embarkation in Amsterdam, you will sail to Spaarndam, the picturesque village where Hans Brinkers held his finger in the dyke. From here it is a short cycling trip to the town of Haarlem. After dinner on board, the guide will invite you for a walk through the center of Haarlem.
Day 2: Haarlem - Leiden, 17km Sail to Lisse for a visit to the Keukenhof Flower exhibition.. The Keukenhof has six million flowering tulips, hyacinths, narcissus and other flowers. After this visit a bike ride through the flower fields to Leiden. In the evening the guide will tell you all about the birthplace of Rembrandt during a walk through the center.
Day 3: Leiden - Uithoorn, 25km Today a bicycle trip through the Green Heart of Holland to Uithoorn/Kudelstaart. Visit a traditional cheese farm and a miller will tell you about the history and working of his windmill.
Day 4: Uithoorn - Aalsmeer - Amsterdam, 15km You'll have to get up early, because you will visit the world's largest flower auction in Aalsmeer. After the bike ride back to the barge, sail back to Amsterdam and disembark early afternoon.
