ACE Adventure Center is located in the New River Gorge National River in wild, wonderful West Virginia. The 1,400-acre ACE Adventure Center is an adventure vacation destination featuring some of the finest Mountain Biking in the U.S. ... plus the area's best lodging and camping. Not only does ACE offer you some of the finest mountain biking trips in the country but you will find their guided whitewater rafting, rock climbing, caving, horseback riding and kayak clinics to be as equally rewarding.
You can stay in one of ACE’s deluxe chalets (complete with private hot tub), ACE's new rustic cozy cabins, (heating and air-conditioned with TV's), "high and dry" cabin tents (complete with linens), or enjoy the sunsets from the mountaintop tent camping area. You may want to try your luck fishing on the New River or Gauley River - check out the current fishing reports.
Families with young children will find the ACE Adventure Center the ideal place for a family vacation. While ACE is famous for their world-class whitewater, they also offer lots of activities suitable for kids as young as 5.
Mountain Bike Program
ACE Adventure Center’s mountain bike program is designed to give riders of all skill levels an opportunity to experience a wide range of trails, while experiencing the amenities of a full-service resort. Their professional staff members are dedicated outdoor specialists with the highest concern for safety, a love for the environment and a genuine interest in their guests. With this in mind, ACE’s guest-to-guide ratio reflects this dedication. Since safety is a key element in their mountain bike program, attention to improving skills and technique is paramount.
Accommodations & Meals
Lodging options include chalets and cabins complete with whirlpool spas on private decks, to cabin tents complete with beds and comforters, to spacious camping amidst a 1400-acre canyon rim Adventure Center. Other options include area bed-and-breakfasts, state park cabins/lodges, four-star golf resorts, and a myriad of hotels. There is something for everyone’s needs and budget. Hearty high-power meals are available at ACE, and high-carb trail lunches help keep you fueled up.

“Mountain Biking Magazine” recently rated West Virginia as one of the top five mountain biking destinations in the United States. ACE’s home is the famous New River Gorge, and in their backyard consists of four nationally preserved river canyons with miles of scenic, single-track bike trails.
A Time for All Seasons
Each season of the year provides a unique outdoor experience in southern West Virginia. Spring brings warming rays, a riot of wildflowers and invigorating rides. Summer features lush forests and cool streams. Fall offers spectacular color and ideal temperatures. Winter has wide-open vistas and the tranquility of the “quiet season”, a time when ACE offers special rates on chalets with outside whirlpool spas.

Reservation Policy
ACE Adventure Center accepts personal checks for payments made at least 30 days prior to your trip date. For payments made within 30 days Mastercard & Visa are accepted. Spring and Summer Trips
A non-refundable deposit of $25 per person per day of activity is required within 10 days of making your reservation. The balance is due 30 days before the date of your trip. Fall Gauley Trips
A non-refundable deposit of $50 per person per day of activity is required within 10 days of making your reservation. The balance is due....July 1 for trips in September....August 1 for trips in October. Chalet Rentals
A non-refundable deposit of $50 per night per chalet is due within 10 days of making your reservation. This is in addition to any deposit paid for activities or trips. Tent Rentals
A non-refundable deposit of $10 per night per tent is due within 10 days of making your reservation. This is in addition to any deposit paid for activities or trips.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations received by us more than 30 days prior to the trip date will receive a full refund less the deposit.
- For all trips, activities and lodging, cancellations received at least 24 hours prior to the trip will receive a rain check equal to the value of all payments made, less the deposit.
- All cancellations must be received in writing.
- No shows on the day of the trip will not receive any reimbursement.
