Custom Tours in the Dordogne & Lot Regions of Southwest France - Available May through October
Dordogne Tours offers eight tour options in the custom Dordogne and Lot Tours selection, all of which can be customized to fit your specific needs, from three to thirteen nights. They are fully supported including baggage transfer, but you are on your own each day. All, as the name implies, are in the Dordogne or Lot or both regions of southwest France. It has some of the finest bicycling in the world and a great spectrum of attractions - and it is also the home of Dordogne & Lot Tours owners and they know every back road and the very best places to stay and eat. In 2008, they also offer two fully guided tours.
You can create your own tour, personalized for you. Your tour is self-guided but fully supported in these amazing regions of southwest France, some of the finest cycling in the world. A wonderful way to go, good for families or groups of friends, or a "honeymoon" with just the two of you. You choose your tour schedule, itinerary and accommodations. In 2008, there are eight tour options, including new Get Away three to six-night options for One Hotel Loop Tours.
There are two very aggressive options for the Dordogne & Lot tours as well. All can be customized to fit your specific needs. Each tour is priced using great, but reasonably priced places, with outstanding food! You may choose to have less dinners included, lower price options including B&B (Chambre d'Hote in French terms), or can upgrade to all four-star level. The Dordogne and Lot have it all, plus amazing prehistoric sites like Lascaux, Pech Merle and Villars to name a few, plus medieval fortresses high on the cliffs overlooking the beautiful river valleys of the region, the Dronne, Vezere, Dordogne and Lot. Mention Dordogne to any Frenchman and they immediately respond "Oh the food, and the scenery, magnifique!" hey have been cycle touring since 1972, and have been touring in the Dordogne and Lot since 1985. They bought a home there in 1999 and now live there May through October each year.
Guided Tours
Dordogne & Lot Bicycle Tours continues to offer a few guided tours in other regions. Join them, as your guides, in some very enjoyable fully supported tours. For 2008, they have planned three tours that coincide with the greatest cycling races - the Giro d'Italia and Tour de France(2). You will be right there in these races, both riding and watching some of the stages, and in between taking full advantage of the great riding, scenery, accommodations and food while following the races. This is Dordogne & Lot Bicycle Tours' ninth year of Tour de France tours, and they will be at race stages in the Alpes and Pyrenees and Italy this year! The Giro d'Italia tour is Dordogne & Lot Bicycle Tours' fourth year and will again be in the Dolomites, in the heart of the action. Also for 2008, Dordogne & Lot Bicycle Tours has two Guided Tours in the Dordogne & Lot, June and September. Also in late September and early October is our new Tuscany to Umbria ten-night tour.

Reservation Policy
A $600 per person deposit is required to reserve your space. It is refundable up to 60 days prior to the trip less a $100 administration fee. Final payment is required 60 days prior to the trip and is refundable, less the deposit, up to 30 days prior to the trip. Trip Cancellation Insurance is recommended.
