From the high alpine terrain of the Aquarius Plateau to the deep canyons of the Escalante River, discover a fantastic array of backcountry cycling! This mountainous region contains biking trails so remote that each year Escape Adventures is commissioned by the US Forest Service to maintain and clear them!
These primitive trails reveal hidden lakes, secret canyons, and spectacular mountain vistas. Escape often encounters large herds of elk and other rarely seen wildlife. Trip highlights include riding atop the highest plateau in North America, visiting John Wesley Powell's favorite lookout point, climbing Hell's Backbone, and biking the exciting Gap Mountain Trail!
Escalante is a great mountain bike trip for skilled riders with endurance and singletrack experience. This trip can also accommodate riders traveling with less experienced friends, as it offers optional dirt roads paralleling some singletrack sections.

All cancellations/changes must be received in writing. No exceptions to these policies will be made for any reason.
With the Following Notification You Receive: Up until 45 days prior to trip departure - Refund of what you have paid minus a $75 fee. 44-30 days prior to trip departure - 50% of your payments. 30-15 days prior to trip departure - 15% of your payments. 14-0 days prior trip departure - No refund.
There is no partial refund for starting a tour late or leaving a trip early. Escape strongly recommends travel insurance in case of unforeseen emergencies.
