Vienna to Budapest

Welcome to Hooked on Cycling Holidays and the cycling holiday following the direction of the River Danube from Vienna to Budapest. Hooked on Walking & Cycling has two cycling holidays available along this route: a seven-night self-guided tour which spends a few days along the Danube before heading away from the river a little, experiencing Austria and the fascinating culture of Hungary.

On the other cycling holiday in Hungary, which is an eight-night self-guided cycle tour, you also visit Slovakia and its capital Bratislava. On this tour you experience the culture of three countries. After this wonderful cycling holiday why not extend your holiday by a few days and explore Budapest and its many historic buildings.
