Since 1987 Pacific Cycle Tours has been specializing in special interest cycling tours of New Zealand. A family owned business, they combine their deep knowledge of the New Zealand landscape and scenic attractions with their passion for adventure.
Exercise and relaxation are the focus. Pacific Cycle Tours' customized tours offer every opportunity to explore the beauty of New Zealand. You can experience the thrills of cycling, mountain biking, trekking, both on and off the beaten track, as well as discover the culinary pleasures of New Zealand's distinctive food and wines. Tours are designed for experienced cyclists as well as beginners.
Throughout every tour, Pacific Cycle Tours' knowledgeable guide is always at your side. All tours are accompanied by mini bus with a special trailer or 4WD Landcruiser, so not only can you rest when you want to, but they carry your luggage for you, and take care of catering and accommodations. They travel in small groups to keep their trips as personal as possible.
Pacific Cycle Tours is concerned about protection of the natural environment and have therefore gained special concessions from the Department of Conservation and private landowners to have access to off-road areas that are normally closed to the public. In some cases these concessions are exclusive to Pacific Cycle Tours and enable you to access, enjoy, touch and taste the special beauty of New Zealand's natural wonderland. Reservation Policy
We will secure your tour booking on receipt of a 25% deposit. Tour balance to be paid no less than 42 days prior to tour departure. By making the deposit payment you are deemed to have accepted Pacific Cycle Tour's Terms and Conditions.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations will require notification to be done in writing by the person taking the tour.
A cancellation 90 days or more prior to departure will result in a loss of 50% of the deposit.
Cancellations made between 90 days and 60 days prior will result in full loss of deposit.
Cancellations made between 60 and 30 days will result in a 50% loss of full tour cost.
Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to tour departure will result in 100% loss of full tour cost.
We will allow you to transfer the amount paid to another tour if done so more than 60 days prior to departure, an administration cost of $50NZ will apply.
Changing tours within 60 days prior to departure will be considered a cancellation of the tour, the booking and cancellation policy above will then apply.
