Overview
Founded in 2008 by Per and Melissa Schwarzenberger, Per’s Bike Rides has brought biking in Tuscany to a higher level. Per and Melissa combined Per’s extensive knowledge of Tuscany and seven years of guiding bike tours with Melissa’s attention to detail in customer service to create a unique bike tour company in Florence.
The company’s philosophy is that bike riding in Tuscany is for everyone no matter what fitness level, each person should receive personal attention on each bike tour, and that all bike tours should always include the highest quality food and wine. Per’s Bike Rides accomplishes this goal by keeping group sizes to a maximum of ten people, customizing tours for different fitness levels and interests, and only serving authentic Italian food and wine in small, intimate settings. Per’s wants everyone to leave tours saying, “I saw parts of Tuscany I could only dream of! The food and wine were unforgettable, and I experienced all this riding a bicycle!”

Reservation Policy
For single day tours, to ensure to be on the tour of your choice, Per's strongly recommends you contact them ahead of time to make a reservation. However, walk-ons are allowed by simply showing up at the meeting point by 9:30am. Per's will accommodate you if room is available.
Multiple day and private tours must be reserved in advance and require a non-refundable 50% deposit at the time of booking. Full payment is due two weeks before the tour date.
Cancellation Policy
For single day tours, cancellations before 48 hours of the tour date will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 48 hours of the tour are non-refundable.
For multiple day and private tours, a 50% refund of the tour price will be given for cancellations before two weeks of the tour date. Any cancellation within two weeks of the tour date invokes forfeiture of the full payment amount.
