It is as equally important to visit a historically significant site as it is to ride a specific race route or climb a famous mountain. Velo personalizes each itinerary with cultural highlights, whether it's a wine tasting, a private cooking class, or a visit to a remote corner of town to view a painting by Jan van Eyck or a sculpture by Michelangelo. Again, Velo calls on an extensive network of local knowledge to bring in personal guides for tours of some of the most historically significant sites in the world, including the Uffizi Gallery in Florence and the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Salzburg and Vienna. Wherever you choose to travel, and at whatever level you choose to participate, you will be immersed in the history and traditional customs of the region, with a multitude of choices that make you feel like a local.
